The Air Force will be conducting a flyover over the Hudson River in the Bronx and southern Westchester at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in preparation for Sunday’s big game. Two F-16s, a Citation 550 aircraft and a UH-60 helicopter will take part in the exercise.
On Sunday around 1 p.m., the F-16Ds will fly over the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony for Air Force Week NYC.
Air Force week officially returns to New York City this Sunday with a long list of events that are sure to be crowd-pleasers.
It will fly at altitudes below 1,000 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
A 1958 DC-7 sightseeing aircraft was to travel south over the Hudson River to the Verrazano Bridge, then east toward Long Island, before returning to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.
