A Swiss artist came from France with a vision and a map of New York City’s public housing complexes, and found the team to build his dream at the Forest Houses in the Bronx.
Lloyd Morgan was shot in the head and killed last week when a gun battle broke out at the Forest Houses, police said.
The Bronx District Attorney’s Office announced the indictment Monday against 17-year-old Rondell Pinkerton.
Bronx Assemblyman Eric Stevenson is presenting the youngster’s family with almost $6,000, and an anonymous donor is paying for the child’s funeral.
Suspect Rondell Pinkerton appeared at Bronx Criminal Court Wednesday afternoon. Prosecutors said Pinkerton told police he was handed a gun at the charity basketball game, where Lloyd Morgan was shot, and fired back after being fired on.
The NYPD expects charges to be filed against a 17-year-old in connection to the weekend shooting that left a 4-year-old Bronx boy dead. And it appears that’s just for starters.
