Harlem Hospital Center
Nearly one infant dies every week in New York City because of unsafe sleep practices, said Gladys Carrion, commissioner of the city Administration for Children’s Services.
Two people were pinned in the car and needed to be extricated. One passenger was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital at about 5 a.m.
Police said shots were fired into a crowd on 141st Street and Lenox Avenue around 9:40 a.m.
Both during and after the explosion that leveled two buildings in East Harlem Wednesday, people were stepping in to help rescue people inside, and take care of the victims afterward.
Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn received a score of 22 points out of 100, while Harlem Hospital Center got just 20 points.
