Police said a group of men fire shots into an Elmont home after a woman yelled at them to stop hitting her boyfriend’s car.
A 16-year-old man was struck and killed on Wednesday in Levittown when he was hit by a minivan, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Police say for some reason a struggle broke out, the suspect — identified as 41-year-old Duane Oxley — fought for the officers gun and the officer was shot in the leg. The suspect was shot and killed by a second police officer.
