AG: New York Psychiatrist Admits To Selling Painkillers To Drug Dealers
Dr. David Brizer, 60, pleaded guilty to felony drug sale, drug possession and conspiracy charges as well as tax fraud.
AG: Manhattan Doctor Illegally Sold Prescriptions For Millions Of Dollars Worth Of Painkillers
Dr. David Brizer pleaded not guilty to the charges in Rockland County Court and remains free on bail. If convicted, Brizer could face up to seven years in prison.
Harlem Doctor Indicted On Charges Of Illegally Selling Painkiller Prescriptions
Dr. Robert Gibbs was arraigned on charges that he supplied the head of a narcotics trafficking ring, Ronald Vaughan, with 700 prescriptions for oxycodone, amounting to 130,000 pills, according to prosecutors.
