Sunday marked the 12th annual No Pants Subway Ride. A group called Improv Everywhere is responsible for the idea.
If you see a throng of people on the New York City subway wearing only winter coats and underwear this coming Sunday, do not be alarmed.
The folks at Improv Everywhere seemed to be aware that not everyone would appreciate this prank as much as they have some of the previous efforts.
Not long from now in a park not that far away, New Yorkers will celebrate the epic science fiction saga “Star Wars” with a lightsaber battle.
The stunt took place around midnight on Sunday on the N train in Astoria. A video shows the Improv Everywhere performers bringing cots, comforters, pillows and sleeping masks aboard the train. They even brought pajamas, in case anybody wanted to change.
Practical jokers Improv Everywhere are at it again, with an ice skating stunt that dazzled onlookers at the ice skating rink in Bryant Park.
The 10th Annual No Pants Subway Ride took placed from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The group that organized the event — Improv Everywhere — said about 10,000 people took part in New York City.
