Donnie Walsh finally got the Knicks under the cap and back in the playoffs. According to CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger, New York is “considering” handing Walsh a two-year contract extension.
Donnie Walsh doesn’t know if he is wanted back by the Knicks, and apparently now is not the time to ask him about it. “None of your d— business,” Walsh snapped before New York’s 131-109 win over the Utah Jazz.
Frank Isola of the Daily News joined Marc Malusis on Thursday to talk about Isiah Thomas’ alleged involvement in the Carmelo Anthony trade, and what he described as “spin control” by Knicks owner James Dolan.
According to MSG chairman James Dolan, reports that Isiah Thomas was involved in the Knicks’ pursuit of Carmelo Anthony were “a fiction in somebody’s mind.”
