Female Baringo Giraffe Makes First Public Debut At Bronx Zoo

She was 6 feet tall at birth and has a lot more growing left to do. She’ll eventually be about 16-feet tall and weigh around 2,600 pounds.

Baby Giraffe Born At Bronx Zoo To Make His Public Debut

The baby boy, named James Marjani, was born on Sept. 14 and is the first giraffe calf to be born at the zoo since 2009.
