Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith has chosen hip-hop star Jay-Z’s new sports agency to represent him.
Jay-Z, the Yankees and developer Bruce Ratner all joined forces to come up with one of those plans. Ratner joined us on The Couch alongside Randy Levine, president of the New York Yankees to talk about their idea for overhauling the event venue.
The club has “had several conversations with Roc Nation Sports about Robinson Cano’s future with the team,” Yankees managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner told reporters on Thursday, according to the New York Daily News.
The rapper and music mogul attended a meeting Thursday on Long Island, where the media was briefed on four proposals to renovate the arena and surrounding property.
