The airline stopped operations entirely on Monday at Newark, John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia airports and at Boston’s Logan International Airport at 5 p.m.
The New York City subway system “has never faced a disaster as devastating” as the damage that was caused by Superstorm Sandy, Metropolitan Transportation Authority chairman Joseph Lhota said Tuesday.
The suspension affects John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International, LaGuardia, Stewart International and Teterboro airports. It applies to both domestic and international flights.
He’s threatening to sue. An airline passenger says the new security pat-down measures went way too far and he recorded it all on his cell phone.
