Gov. Cuomo Appoints New Head For Troubled Ethics Board

Cuomo said lawyer Daniel Horwitz, a former assistant district attorney in Manhattan, will take over from Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore as head of the Joint Commission on Public Ethics.

State Panel: Cuomo’s Food Network Star Girlfriend Entitled To Taxypayer-Funded Perks

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics expanded the perks for the state’s “first family” in a legal opinion first reported Friday by The Associated Press. The commission says Sandra Lee can stay in the governor’s mansion and fly for free with Gov. Andrew Cuomo on state aircraft during official trips as well as receive police protection.
