The jury at the Etan Patz murder trial is in its third day of deliberations.
Jurors began deliberations Wednesday afternoon in the trial of Pedro Hernandez – the man accused of luring and killing 6-year-old Etan Patz in SoHo nearly 36 years ago.
Deliberations began Thursday morning, just as the emotion-filled dedication ceremony for the National Sept. 11 Memorial Museum was wrapping up.
Jurors were on a break for the weekend Saturday, after failing so far to reach a verdict in the trial of a man who allegedly killed a Manhattan psychotherapist by slashing her to death.
Nechemya Weberman, 54, smiled as he left the courthouse with his wife on Thursday, seeming upbeat. But it could be his last night as a free man.
Jurors finished deliberating Sunday without a verdict as they tried to determine the fate of a man convicted of murdering a mother and her two daughters in their home.
