Thousands of late-night subway riders will have to find a different way to get around this week. Service at more than a dozen stations on the Lexington Avenue line will be suspended for the next four nights, and into the early morning.
James Moss’ wife and son both pleaded with the judge to not send him to prison. However, Moss was sentenced to four months of weekends in jail and 5 years of probation.
Authorities are passing out flyers to local businesses, reminding people that when they use a cell phone on the street, they make themselves a prime target.
