Ravi talked to police the day after his Rutgers roommate, Tyler Clementi, committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge.
A detective testified Tuesday that a Rutgers University student saved screenshots of his roommate’s Twitter postings that said he was seen on a video chat “making out with a dude” and “daring” others to watch.
A high school friend of Dharun Ravi told prosecutors Ravi tweeted about setting up the webcam inside the dorm room he shared with 18-year-old Tyler Clementi.
The man seen on a webcam having an intimate encounter with a former Rutgers student who committed suicide days later is testifying today in the trial of Dharun Ravi.
The other man, who has only been identified as M.B., has tried desperately to keep his identity a secret in the case against Dharun Ravi.
