Carrie Ruffner, 34, was found alive in Millington, three miles away from her home. Ruffner was spotted by Sgt. Aaron Buerstetta of the Long Hill Police Department, ending three days of of intensive search and rescue efforts.
Carrie Ruffner, 34, was last seen leaving her parent’s home in Basking Ridge around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
A good Samaritan contacted trust officials and told them the bird would be returned unharmed as long as no charges were filed.
