Some Long Island residents think the U.S. Postal Service’s motto needs to be revised. That’s because snow, rain and gloom of night have been getting in the way of their mail deliveries.
Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night will keep a postal carrier from delivering your mail.
But lack of money might.
Each time, the NYPD said, the muggers shoved the unarmed postal worker to the ground and stole a master mailbox key that gives the thieves access to dozens of mailboxes.
