Hundreds Of Same-Sex Couples Exchange Vows In NY

Gay couples cheered by supporters began marrying Sunday in New York City on the on the landmark day that New York became the sixth and largest state to recognize same-sex weddings.

NYC Clerk Prepares Gender-Neutral Marriage Forms For Possible Gay Marriage Legalization

The current form asks for one bride’s name and one groom’s name. The gender-neutral versions would allow each person to choose whether he or she is a bride, groom or spouse.
