Jonathon Niese used his nervous energy to pitch two hitless innings for New York in a 7-0 win over a Miami Marlins split-squad that played without former Mets star Jose Reyes. Niese faced seven batters, striking out two and walking one while throwing 19 of 31 pitches for strikes.
