New Connecticut Gun Laws Begin Taking Effect Today

Some Conn. Gun Control Provisions To Go Into Effect Monday

Beginning Monday, people can begin applying for new credentials to purchase long guns and ammunition. Such credentials will eventually be required to buy ammo, rifles and shot guns.

Playground Inspired By Sandy Hook Victim To Open; Groundbreaking Set For Another

The playgrounds are the fourth and fifth being built as part of the Sandy Ground Project: Where Angels Play, an effort spearheaded by the Firefighters’ Mutual Benevolent Association of New Jersey.
