Ex-NYC Parks Official Accused Of Stealing More Than $50,000 From Queens Park

A former New York City parks department official is accused of stealing more than $50,000 from the nonprofit group she founded to improve the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens.

Boy Scarred In Iraq On L.I. For Medical Treatment

Young Abdin Hadi was injured as a toddler when a car bomb exploded, sending a live wire across his face which left him severely scarred. A group of non-profit agencies has brought him and his family to Long Island for treatment by a plastic surgery group.
