De Blasio Wants Macy’s July 4th Fireworks Back On East River

The Macy’s fireworks have been held over the Hudson River since 2009, at which time it was just to celebrate Henry Hudson’s discovery of Manhattan. Several elected officials are calling for the display’s return to the East River.
