Cut To Food Stamp Benefits Hitting New Yorkers

Nearly two million New Yorkers have lost an average of $29 a month due to cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.

Long Island Target Store May Be The First To Unionize

It could be a historic vote at the Valley Stream Target. If the 260 workers approve a vote to unionize the store. Voting ends at about 11:30 p.m. with results expected to be announced by 1a.m. Saturday.
