Peter Kantorowski has withdrawn a lawsuit trying to evict his 98-year-old mother and will allow her to remain in her Fairfield, Conn. home.
Peter Kantorowski, 71, said his brother, Jack, has been taking advantage of his mother and served the eviction notice to get him out of the house, not his elderly mother.
When Mary’s Kantorowski’s husband died in 1997 she signed the house over to her elder son with the understanding she’d be able to stay in it as long as she lived. That was 15 years ago. She was 83. She’s 98 now and he is apparently tired of waiting.
Living out her life in her own home in Fairfield, it’s unlikely Mary Kantorowski ever dreamed that at age 98, her own son would be trying to evict her.
