Arizona Awarded 2015 Super Bowl

NFL owners have awarded the 2015 Super Bowl to the Phoenix area. It will be the third time the area has hosted the game, which will be played in Glendale, Ariz.

Without Yankees’ Derek Jeter And 15 Others, All-Star Game Loses Some Luster

Forty years ago, the All-Star game really was played by stars. Back then, 18 future Hall of Famers took the field at Tiger Stadium. This year, 16 All-Stars — including Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter — backed out of Tuesday night’s desert showdown.
