The Jets must look to the future and break this trend of renting “hired guns” for a season or two. The future of this team, whether Jets fans like it or not, is Mark Sanchez.
It took 14 weeks of the NFL season but the Jets finally have found and established their identity, looking every bit the part of the playoff caliber team most envisioned during preseason.
Under normal circumstances, I would pick the Jets to win this game 31-10. But with the offense without Mangold and the likelihood of Sanchez being pressured into some mistakes, I the game will be a lot closer Jets fans would hope for.
