A New Jersey woman is accused of trying to kill her grandmother by poisoning her with antifreeze.
Someone is deliberately poisoning pigeons in Manhattan, and others pets could be at risk.
Authorities said Erlendy Flores died after Flavio Godoy stuck a syringe filled with cyanide in her arm while she was packing clothes. Police said Godoy then drank cyanide himself and died.
The woman accused of killing her estranged husband with a chemical used to kill rats said she didn’t do it. Investigators said the crime might have gone unnoticed if not for a quick-thinking nurse.
The ASPCA posted flyers up and down East 235th Street to alert pet owners.
