Two Manhattan Bus Routes Named Slowest In The City

The M66 and M42 have been awarded the 11th annual Pokey Award. Buses on both of the routes clocked in at 3.9 miles per hour.

Manhattan’s M50 Crosstown Bus Wins ‘Pokey Award’

The winner of this year’s uncoveted gold snail on a pedestal is the M50 crosstown bus which the groups said clocked in at 3.5 mph at noon on a weekday.

M42 Bus Wins ‘Pokey Award’ For 2nd Year In A Row

Not much has changed for Manhattan’s crosstown M42 bus. For the second year in a row the line has received the “Pokey Award” making it the slowest bus in the city clocking in at an average speed of 3.6 miles per hour.
