Brookhaven Town Officials To Sue Over Contaminated LIRR Yard

Report: Despite NJ TRANSIT Hurricane Plan, Agency Sustained $100 Million In Damage

The agency’s plan called for moving its trains to higher ground before superstorm Sandy hit, raising additional questions about why the agency instead moved locomotives and rail cars to low-lying rail yards.

Lhota: LIRR East Side Access Project Facing Delays

MTA chairman Joseph Lhota says there have been problems tunneling underneath a rail yard in Queens. The MTA has brought in experts from Europe to help with developing a plan going forward.
