Newark City Council Adopts Ordinance To Limit Hours Of Late-Night Restaurants

The ordinance requires restaurants to close at 10 p.m. during the week and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The council reportedly made a list of areas they think are problematic.

Suspect Charged With Murder In Drive-By Shooting That Killed Newark Cop

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carol A. Murray said Saturday that 19-year-old Rasul McNeill-Thomas, is now charged with first-degree murder in the death of Officer William Johnson.
