A 16-year-old student faces arraignment on murder charges in the stabbing death of a classmate at their high school on the day of the junior prom.
The chief medical examiner said on Sunday that 16-year-old Maren Sanchez died of stab wounds to the neck and torso.
Joseph Callahan, 69, of Fairfield pleaded not guilty in Bridgeport Superior Court to 112 counts of illegal possession of explosives and other charges.
Joseph C. Callahan, 69, was charged Monday with 112 counts of illegal possession of explosives, reckless endangerment and manufacture of bombs. He is free on bond and scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 16.
