An off-duty Newark police officer shot and killed a robber at the store where he was working as a security guard Sunday afternoon.
The suspect took a picture of himself exhaling smoke on the victim’s cellphone. The woman had her phone set to automatically post pictures to her Facebook page.
Police shot and killed a man suspected of robbing a CVS store at knife-point late Sunday in Leonia, N.J. It was not specified what the suspect did to prompt police to open fire.
Authorities said all of the incidents took place inside 255 McKibbin Street on April 29, May 16 and May 19.
