Ailing outfielder Jason Bay first thought he’d return to the Mets’ lineup on April 9. New York put the kibosh on those plans, and on Tuesday Sandy Alderson admitted Bay’s “loose and subject to revision” schedule might have him out until April 26.
Mets Put C Ronny Paulino On DL
The Mets placed catcher Ronny Paulino on the 15-day disabled list the day after he finished serving a 50-game suspension.
Paulino was suspended with 42 games left last season while with the Marlins after testing positive for a banned substance.
