Former Giants safety Tyler Sash is facing charges of public intoxication and interference with official acts in Iowa after fleeing police on his motorized scooter, according to Oskaloosa officials.
Police responded to a call in the vicinity of 103rd Ave and 108th Street where they found a 20-year-old man who had suffered two gunshot wounds to the head.
The 59-year-old veteran uses the $1,800 Blue Champion 3 scooter to get to and from the bus he takes to volunteer at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, police said.
Police said the 58-year-old woman was riding her scooter on W. Houston Street in the West Village just before 9 a.m. As she crossed 6th Ave., she got caught in the rear wheels of the truck and dragged for two blocks.
