Sen. Roger Wicker
A onetime Mississippi State House candidate whose home and business were searched as part of an investigation into ricin-tainted letters has been arrested in the case, according to the FBI.
An Elvis impersonator accused of mailing ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama and other elected officials was a free man Tuesday night.
The FBI said Thursday that further tests are still being done, but that lab results show the toxin was used in the mailings.
The Secret Service said the second letter was addressed to President Obama. This comes a day after a similar letter was sent to Sen. Roger Wicker of Mississippi.
CBS News reported that the letter preliminarily tested positive for ricin poison, but that further testing is required.
