Autopsy: Lakewood Toddler Died Of Accidental Drowning
Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said Tuesday that a preliminary investigation found “no indication of foul play or trauma” in the death of a toddler whose body was found inside a septic tank behind her home.

It’s unknown just how long the 2-year-old, who relatives identified as “J.C.”, was inside the underground septic tank. Her body was found Monday night after authorities said her parents reported her missing.
Toddler Found Dead In N.J. Septic Tank
The discovery ended a roughly three-hour search by township police, an Ocean County Sheriff’s Department canine unit and a state police helicopter.
