The two enhanced and very clear photos from the surveillance system has given police and the public hope that they’ll soon catch the suspect.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of Anthony Barham, 46. He faces charges including kidnapping, sexual assault and making terroristic threats.
Police fear that a serial groper may be targeting women in Brooklyn. A woman was groped on Wednesday on 16th street in Park Slope, across the street from where another woman was groped fourteen months ago.
The suspect demanded oral sex from the victim before forcing her to a back alley and raping her, according to police.

The victims told police the suspects were armed and wearing ski masks when they entered the Brownsville apartment.

It turns out Steven Pappas — accused of molesting a 15-year-old boy last week — could have been caught two years ago, when a 12-year-old boy accused the man of molesting him.
The man, who has a prior sex offense on his record, was taken into custody this morning in Sunset Park in the general vicinity of the attack, police said.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 45 and 49 years old. Authorities said the man weighs about 145 pounds and has a bald head, grey mustache and a mole under the left side of his lip.
