The woman whose husband was shot and killed in a carjacking at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey in December has filed a lawsuit.
Questions have been mounting about the delayed response time by EMS crews to a deadly shooting at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey last month.
Hanif Thompson, 29, of Irvington; Karif Ford, 31, of Newark; Basim Henry, 32, of Newark; and Kevin Roberts, 33, of Newark, face a series of charges, including murder.
There were a total of 111 homicides in Newark this past year, the most since 1990.
Basim Henry was arrested in Pennsylvania. The 32-year-old was accused of violating the conditions of his supervised release from a 2006 robbery.
The sport-utility vehicle that the suspects used as a getaway vehicle in the deadly carjacking and shooting at the Short Hills Mall last weekend actually belonged to a suspect’s mother, according to a published report.
