A man was found beaten and stabbed to death in a basement in South Ozone Park, Queens early Tuesday, police said.
The NYPD is hoping new surveillance video will lead to clues in the homicide of 24-year-old Marisha Cheong.
Investigators are trying to determine if the case is related to another push-in robbery in the neighborhood, CBS 2 reported.
Officers found a female, unconscious and unresponsive near the intersection of South Conduit Avenue and the Van Wyck Expressway. EMS arrived at the location and pronounced the woman dead.

Lee Samuel, who has no known address, was charged with having sexual contact with two 7-year-old girls on separate occasions in the South Ozone Park section of Queens, District Attorney Richard Brown announced Tuesday night.
“We simply cannot let the streets of Queens or anywhere else become places where girls and young woman are unsafe,” Quinn said.
The latest surveillance video shows the suspect walking away from one of the alleged incidents, police said.
Police on Saturday morning were stepping up their search for a sexual predator in Queens.
Police said a man driving a tan van exposed himself to a 14-year-old girl and then trailed her for several blocks Thursday afternoon.
Both attacks happened in South Ozone Park within a few hours of each other Wednesday.
