Three Long Island mothers – all tired of battling school administrators – are now going to do battle in federal court over claims that their disabled children are being discriminated against in public school.
The bill comes after recent incidents in Middletown, where special education students at Farm Hill Elementary School were reportedly isolated in “scream rooms” during outbursts.
The class has a mix of special education and mainstream students and teachers say using the love of football for the past week has helped motivate them to learn.
