Palmer, Weatherford Are Questionable For Cardinals – Giants Sunday Contest

The New York Giants head into their home opener relatively healthy, with the exception of punter Steve Weatherford, who suffered torn ligaments in his ankle against Detroit on Monday. For the Arizona Cardinals, starting running back Andre Ellington has not practiced much this week, and quarterback Carson Palmer is questionable with a sore right shoulder.

Giants Lose Manning, Beat Redskins 20-6 In Season Finale

The New York Giants limped past the lifeless Washington Redskins 20-6 in the rainy Meadowlands. New York lost quarterback Eli Manning to an ankle injury late in the first half, but rode two Jerrel Jernigan touchdowns to the victory. The loss likely ends the Mike Shanahan-era in Washington.

Manning Throws 5 Interceptions, Seattle Dismantles New York 23-0

The Seattle Seahawks came to the Big Apple looking to maintain its position as the top seed in the NFC playoff hunt. The New York Giants had very little to play for, since they were eliminated from playoff contention last week. Seattle dominated New York defensively and shut out the G-men, 23-0, in a lackluster affair at MetLife Stadium.

Andre Brown, Terrell Thomas Lead Giants Over Raiders 24-20

It certainly was not pretty, but at this point in the season, style points do not matter. The New York Giants played rope-a-dope with the Oakland Raiders, and running back Andre Brown delivered the knockout punch in New York’s 24-20 victory over the Silver and Black on Sunday in a windy MetLife Stadium.

Giants Salvage Win Against Eagles Despite Poor Offensive Performance

After starting the season 0-6, the New York Football Giants have won two games in a row. New York’s defense once again did not allow a touchdown, as Michael Vick re-injured his hamstring, and rookie Matt Barkley could not rally his troops as the Giants defeated the Eagles 15-7 in Philadelphia.
