Officers arrived around 4:05 a.m. Saturday to the scene of a shooting in front of 1198 Fulton St. in Brooklyn, police said.
It happened back on June 29 in the lobby of an apartment building on Briggs Avenue.
A federal lawsuit filed Friday in Newark claims Alexis Aponte and Miguel Rivera of Prospect Park were both beaten while handcuffed and lying on the ground. Aponte was a passenger in a truck driven by Rivera when police stopped them.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 outside 3344 Palmer Avenue in the Baychester section.
