Two Brooklyn men were able to walk free Thursday, after spending 21 years behind bars for a triple murder they said they did not commit.
Miguel Mejia-Ramos was arrested Monday in Texas after authorities tracked his cellphone.
Miguel Mejia-Ramos, 28, was captured early Tuesday morning at a vehicle roadblock in Schulenburg, Texas, located between Houston and San Antonio, the NYPD said.
Police said that they have recovered the gun used in the killings. Additionally, they said that they have found DNA linking the suspect to the shootings.
