State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman fired back at Donald Trump on Tuesday, saying the real estate mogul is trying to distract from a $40 million lawsuit.
“People loved the school. The school was terrific,” Trump said. “If you go to Harvard, they don’t have a 98 percent approval rating, We had a 98 percent approval rating.”
In response to a $40 million lawsuit filed this weekend, Donald Trump called New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman a “lightweight” and accused Schneiderman of trying to “extort” him.
New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman sued Donald Trump Saturday, claiming that “Trump University” promised to make students rich but instead steered them into expensive and mostly useless seminars.
A spokesman for the Trump Entrepreneurial Initiative acknowledged receiving an inquiry from Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office and said the organization would cooperate with the probe.
