L.I. Organization Offering Grants To Help With Backlog Of Rape Kits

After finding out there are at least 400,000 rape kits sitting on shelves waiting to be tested, a Long Island organization plans to offer grants to help tackle the problem.

Thieves Rob Sick Long Island Boy Of His Medication

A group of thieves broke into a home in broad daylight and stole a child’s medicine. The burglars also made away with donations recently raised for the young boy, who suffers from cystic fibrosis.
