Police: ‘Blackout Bandits’ Charged In Rye For Burglaries Following Sandy

Smith and Trully have been charges with six counts of burglary or attempted burglary in Rye, but police have linked them to a total of 35 robberies from Westchester to Connecticut since Sandy hit.

Rye Detectives, Police Officers To Meet With FBI About Rash Of Hoax Emergency Calls

Following four false reports, police have arrested a 14-year-old boy from Rye, but Police Commissioner William Connors believes that the cyber trail will lead to outside the city.
