Report: Curbside Buses Have Higher Fatal Accident Rate

Sen. Charles Schumer is promising a crackdown on low-cost buses after a new federal report shows that the fatality rate for people riding in so-called curbside carriers is seven times higher than conventional bus companies.

Lawyer: NYC Bus Driver Sober, Awake Before Crash

In a published report, attorney Sean H. Rooney said Ophadell Williams was in control of the bus until a tractor-trailer veered toward it on a highway. He said the driver claims he lost control after swerving to avoid the truck.

Woman Injured In Bronx Bus Crash Files $20 Million Lawsuit

Andrew Finkelstein, the attorney for 74-year-old Yuke Cho Lo said his client was “seeking significant damages” after sustaining a head injury and having multiple surgeries.
