Valentine's Day is the one special night out of the year when you really have to show your love just what she means to you. Taking her out to see a show is your best bet. Whether it's a concert, Broadway musical, off-Broadway play or a dinner mystery date, she'll be sure to enjoy the effort you put into the night. Little will she know that all you had to do was look at the list we've compiled of the best date night shows for Valentine's Day.

You'll definitely win points for creativity on this one. For one night only, the Beacon Theatre will be host to a 70's soul jam that includes live music from The Stylistics, The Dramatics, The Manhattans, The Delfonics and Blue Magic. R&B, disco and soul music will be played throughout the night. You'll be dancing all the way home.

If you and your date love funny, then this is the perfect show to see. The show follows Jack Singer, who finally builds up the courage to propose to his girlfriend, but their plans to get hitched in Vegas might be thrown for a loop when a handsome gambler sets his eyes on Betsy as well. Tony Danza stars alongside Brynn O'Malley and Rob McClure for this laugh-out-loud Broadway musical. Other nights are available through May.

If opera and beautiful music is your passion, take your date to the Met. One of the top-performed operas around the world, Don Giovanni is a two-act opera by Mozart that follows the comedic seductions of the Don Juan-type character, Giovanni. The cast includes Peter Mattei as Giovanni, alongside Elza van den Heever, Emma Bell and Luca Pisaroni. New York Philharmonic music director Alan Gilbert will conduct the show. The combination of acting, costuming and conducting are sure to make this night one you'll never forget.

"Romeo + Juliet"

The most choreographed ballet after "The Nutcracker," "Romeo + Juliet" has been performed on stage by the NYC Ballet for the past seven years. A tragic love story written by William Shakespeare, "Romeo + Juliet" is feted as one of the best love stories of all time. This performance is set to the score by Prokofiev in two acts. The dancing, music, costumes and set design will leave your date dreaming of Shakespearean love stories all night long. The ballet is performed throughout the month of February.

If you're looking for the complete opposite of the "Romeo and Juliet" story, then this one might be more your style. Now celebrating over 10 years on stage, this show is really about, well, naked boys who sing. An original production, the show features 16 musical numbers performed by eight men in their birthday suits. Although there's no real plot, the show is supposed to be great fun and meant only for mature audiences.
