Sigmund Pretzels

230 Park Ave.
New York, NY

Whether you're craving something savory and salty or gooey and sweet, Sigmund's Pretzels has got it all. Stop in for one of their hand-rolled German-style soft pretzels and dips like a hearty Gruyere Paprika with whole grain mustard, or a decadent Churro with Nutella. You can also fill up on a classic Reuben, Norwegian salmon, or prosciutto sandwich on a fresh pretzel bun. Stop in during happy hour (4 p.m. – 9 p.m.) and get a free pretzel with every drink. Now that's a good deal!

You may already know about City Bakery's famous Hot Chocolate Festival or their divine melted chocolate chip cookies, but did you know they're also the home of the pretzel croissant? Yep, this pastry is salty like a pretzel but flaky like a croissant. At $4 a pop, it's certainly a twist worth trying!

Head over to the West Village and stop into Wogies Bar & Grill for their Philly Soft Pretzel ($7). Dunk these warm bread bites into your choice of Yuengling cheddar beer sauce or grainy mustard sauce. Not only are these pretzels made in-house, but they also make the perfect base for a sandwich. Their Grilled Chicken Sandwich ($13) with lettuce, tomato and mayo is served on a pretzel roll and pairs perfectly with one of their many beers on draft. Stop in from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Monday-Friday) and get $1 off any draft or bottled brew.

The chunks of sea salt on top will satisfy any salt craving, while the mixture of tart mustard with the rich cheese sauce will leave you wanting more. Enjoy $2 off any glass of wine and draft beers during happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
