If you are looking to enjoy an array of classical music, get ready for a great season of sensual selections for your ears. From the Lincoln Center to Brooklyn Academia of Music (BAM), here's a list of the best classical performances for the remainder of 2014.

Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig is a German symphony orchestra based in Leipzig, Germany and will be at the Lincoln Center to perform Anton Bruckner symphony No. 7, as well as Johann Sebastian Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 4, which was first premiered in 1884 by the orchestra. Music director Riccardo Chailly will join the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig.

Come see the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Steven Stucky's opera "The Classical Style," featuring 2013 MacArthur Fellow, Jeremy Dank as the pianist and librettist. Said to have absurd humor with great music, "The Classical Style" is sure to delight. Additionally, the program will include MOZART Fantasia and Sonata in C Minor, K. 475/457.

Academy award-winning American composer Philip Glass presents his complete piano etudes at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Considered one of the most influential music makers of the late 20th century, the two-night performance will be a treat. Assembling a distinguished roster of talents, Glass will be joined by nine other pianists including Nico Muhly, Aaron Diehland Jenny Lin.

French conductor Emmanuelle Haïm and her Le Concert d'Astrée will be at the Lincoln Center for the first time this year. Emmanuelle Haïm and Le Concert d'Astrée's 2013 performance was named one of the best of the year by The New York Times. The celebrated ensemble returns with Handel's Italian masterpiece "Giulio Cesare in Egitto," featuring soprano Natalie Dessay.

Antonio Vivaldi's best-known work, "The Four Seasons," is heard in its scintillating entirety. One of the most popular pieces in the classical music repertoire, the set of four violin concertos is music to your soul. Performed brilliantly by Kristin Lee and others including Mark Holloway and James Austin, the collection also includes masterpieces by Geminiani, Albinoni and Telemann.
