Q: Welcome to Defend Your Ride New York. Can you tell me your name and tell me where we are today?
A: My name is Franklin. I’m here on Park Avenue and this is my truck. We are here in Lennox Hill. I’m waiting to pick up my daughter, so I’m sitting here listening to some music while I wait.
Q: How long have you had your vehicle?
A: I’ve had it for five years. It’s a 2006 Ford Expedition. It’s big and powerful. I love it.
Q: Do you have a nickname for your vehicle?
A: My daughter calls it the Yee-Haw!
Q: Do you use the vehicle mostly for business or pleasure?
A: I use it mostly for pleasure, taking vacations with my daughter, wife and son.
Q: Do you like to listen to music in it?
A: I love to listen to merengue, Colombian music, cumbia and vallenato. I love it all.
Q: If your car had a human emotion, what would it be?
A: It’s a happy car because it’s big. When you pass by other people, you can look down at them and smile. It’s fun. It has a lot of power and it’s fun to drive. That’s why I bought it.
Q: Where do you live? What’s the zip code?
A: I live in Brooklyn, 11226.
Q: Would you like to say anything else about your truck?
A: I’m very happy I bought it. It has lots of room, so my whole family can fit and we can go on adventures.
